New Year, New You

I’m stealing a little free time to finally get a review in for the Kroger My Magazine Sharing. I’ve slacked on the last few missions because there has been so much going on in life. I could hope for things to slow down a little, but not too much because I really do enjoy the ride.

My Review:

(My items were all free samples from Kroger.)

  • ONE (1) Sample Pack of Nature Made® Multi Adult Gummies, 2 ct.
  • ONE (1) Sample of One A Day® Nature’s Medley Multivitamin
I’m going to do these two vitamin samples together because they are pretty similar products. The gummies taste good and are a very basic multi vitamin. But that’s it. Before trying the Nature Made and One A Day, I took the Kirkland brand daily multivitamin from Costco. My Kirkland brand multivitamins have what appears to be almost double the vitamins in each tablet and is a more complete multivitamin. If you are looking for something basic or even have trouble taking vitamins, the Nature’s Made and One A Day would be a great alternative. For me, I am going to go back to my Kirkland multi. I should also add that in the few weeks since a switched to the gummies, my nails and hair don’t seem to be growing as well as when I take the Kirkland vitamins.
  • ONE (1) Osteo Bi-Flex® Ease, 7 ct.
I actually did not try this product because I had no reason to take it.  It is a supplement to help with joint mobility. At the moment, my joints seems to be working great so there is no need to add a supplement just to add it.
  • ONE (1) Sample of Sensodyne® Rapid Relief Mint Toothpaste
I tossed this sample to my husband. He’s always been a fan of Sensodyne toothpaste. The Rapid Relief did not disappoint. He said he can tell a difference in hot/cold sensitivity when using Sensodyne versus regular toothpaste. Good thing I got a coupon so I can buy him more. Why didn’t I try it? I use an all natural tooth powder that I order from a company called Primal Pit Paste. (I get my deodorant and some other items from them as well. I’ll save that review for another day.) I have been using the natural powder for so long that I cannot stand the taste of regular toothpaste.
  • ONE (1) 16 Day Trial of Metamucil®
I try to keep a consistent and healthy diet but lately that’s been a bit of a challenge. So yeah, I go from regular to not to uh oh. I tried the Metamucil. The fiber definitely caused a little gas bloat but beyond that it didn’t kill my gut too much. I did feel some relief after using. I may take it with me on my next trip because travel is always a struggle for me.
  • ONE (1) ChapStick® Total Hydration Lip Balm
I have lip balms stashed all over the house. In the last few years, I’ve tried to make it a habit of not keeping a tube in my pocket at all times because I felt myself over using it. I don’t use it as often, which means when I do use lip balm, I need it to be good. I really liked the ChapStick Total Hydration Lip Balm. It was lightweight and not waxy. It also left my lips with a cooling feeling (perfect for after a quick tanning session). My lips felt moisturized after each use. I really like this stuff!
  • ONE (1) Sample of Listerine® Ready! Tabs™, 8 ct.
I had previously been a fan of Listerine’s little paper-thin tabs that melted in your mouth. These tabs were like an added boost to those. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chewing and swishing—however, my mouth  felt clean and fresh. Actually, I felt clean and fresh all the way down my throat and into my gut. My burps were fresh. I really wish I would have had these in my purse the other night after an onion on my cheeseburger gave me the worst breathe and taste in my mouth. I’ll definitely keep the Listerine tabs on me from now on. What a great product for on the go!
  • ONE (1) $2 Coupon for any ONE (1) Pedialyte® AdvancedCare™ Plus Product
I did not purchase the Pedialyte.
  • Pass-along Coupons
I did pass along some of my coupons. My friends are always eager to see what I have to share with them.
